Talking with Communities

Every three months we hold a community event at Grange Road Methodist Church Resource Centre with  members from different communities in Hartlepool, for example, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Chinese, Korean, Filipino, Kurdish, Indian, Asylum Seekers, and Refugees.

This event is used to inform community members about Council services, and also to consult with members of the public about a variety of issues.

DescriptionHartlepool Borough Council wants to provide services that people really need and can use. The best way to do that is to talk to people and find out what they want. This event is designed to talk with members of Hartlepool's diverse communities. This is your chance to tell the Council what it is doing well, what it is getting wrong and how things could be better.

Research Overview

Reasons for ConsultationHartlepool Borough Council wants to make links with all diverse communities in Hartlepool. We want to hear from all sorts of people - men, women, young & older people, people with disabilities, business people, housewives, etc - anybody who has a view on the Council and its services.
How will findings be usedThe Council will use findings to improve services, and will also feedback your comments and concerns to the relevant people at the Council. We will also plan future meetings based on what you tell us you would like to be consulted about or want more information about.
